Dr. Ilana Etelzon is an experienced and accomplished Pain Management Specialist. She is a Fellowship trained Interventional Pain & Musculoskeletal Medicine Specialist. She uses a non-operative approach to treat pain. She incorporates Minimally Invasive Procedures and various Regenerative Therapies to treat a wide spectrum of pain syndrome including lower back pain, sciatica, pinched nerves, neck pain, CRPS, failed back surgery and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Ilana Etelzon utilizes fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided techniques to treat pain.

Dr. Etelzon focuses on providing treatment options that will break the pain cycle. She works together with her patients to formulate a treatment plan that is practical and effective. Treatment will consist of getting the patient out of pain, followed by proper rehabilitation in order to prevent the pain from recurring. The goal is to establish an individual treatment plan that is just right for the patient. Her methods are highly successful, as echoed in the feedback of her satisfied patients.

Dr. Etelzon’s training and experience allows her to utilize various techniques that will help return the patient back to their pain free, active state.

Dr. Etelzon focuses on innovative techniques when it comes to medicine with particular areas of interest involving Spinal Cord Stimulation, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation and RadioFrequency Techniques to manage pain.

As a New York State Certified Medical Marijuana Prescriber, Dr. Etelzon may be able to offer a opioid-free option for patients seeking chronic pain relief.

Dr. Etelzon is an active member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), Spine Intervention Society (SIS), North American Spine Society (NASS) and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR). She has authored in numerous articles relating to pain management, regenerative medicine, sports medicine and cardiac rehabilitation. Dr. Etelzon continues to be involved in active research and enjoys teaching residents and students.
