Will checking my financing options affect my credit?
Seeing if you prequalify with CareCredit is a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score. Cherry also lets you check your options without a hard credit inquiry. A full application, if you choose to submit one, may involve a credit check, which the financing company will explain during the process.
Is regenerative treatment covered by insurance?
Most regenerative procedures, including PRP and bone marrow concentrate, are not covered by insurance. Some procedures, such as percutaneous tenotomy, are covered by Medicare and many private plans. Our team will tell you clearly which category your treatment falls into before you commit to anything.
Can I use an HSA or FSA card?
Yes, HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Whether a specific treatment qualifies depends on your plan administrator, so it is worth confirming with them first.
Do I have to decide on financing before my consultation?
No. Your first step is a consultation where Dr. Etelzon reviews your history and imaging and recommends a plan. You will know the full cost before scheduling any procedure, and financing is simply there if you would like to spread payments out.
